My famous Entrepreneur

Today I have studied an entrepreneur group and I chose the GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS.

I chose this because they were my favorite basketball team and I look up to them because I want to be like them when I grow up and play basketball. My favorite person in the team is Stephen curry because he is my inspiration because no matter how short he is he can still play good.

I have learned that to be an entrepreneur you need these characteristics: Golden state is a Hardworking team and they train hard to get to the finals and do whatever it takes to win the championships. People like Golden state warriors because of how good they are and how they play. Golden State is a team who will never give up and is a good role model for young ballers. Golden State Warriors have the best teamwork in my opinion but they are the best. They are huge role models for everyone because no matter how short or tall they are they still have the qualities to win and bring home the trophy.
Here is my DLO presentation.

Rube Goldberg Inventions

Today in class we learned about inventions of how to turn off the light without using your hands or telling some to do it for you. My idea was to try as many balls until the light turns off. There are many ways to turn the light off but I chose this idea because I love sports.

Our Government - Mind-Map

Today in class we learned about our new government and what their job and responsibilities are. Our new government is run by Labour, New Zealand first, and the Green party. The job of the government is to create ideas to form a better place and safer place for us humans to live in and we also learned about important words that link to government for e.g. Coalition.  A coalition is when two parties combine to try and come to an agreement over making rules and laws for the country. We also learned about what mixed member proportional is and we know New Zealand has a mixed member proportional government where voters get two votes.

Our Environment on Mind-Map

Today we revised a Mind-Map about our project we did in term 1, about problems in our community. Our group did waterways and our problem was the Tamaki College rain garden and how bad things were in there. Our solution was to clean our rain garden so that the birds won't die while flying there.  There are big problems such as parks and public spaces, culture, recycling, houses, healthy food and our one was waterways.  When we were cleaning our Tamaki College rain garden we saw heaps of dirty rubbish and bad vines so our deputy principal told our group to clean the bad stuff and showed us the bad vines to pull out and to also cut the bad vines.  This is a big problem because we need to protect our local waterway.  We need all rain gardens around the world to keep safe. Our rain garden was once dirty and polluted until us heroes were there to save our Tamaki College rain garden. Our weed tree called a privet that was growing wildly and us people had to fix it up. So our rain garden is now nice and healthy and we'll be there to keep it healthy.
